Myrian Herlle
Myrian has worked in higher education for many years. She started out as an Assistant Campus Director/Academic Coordinator for FEI in Miami, and then transitioned to working as academic advisor for West Africa Management Services in Houston, Texas. Myrian returned to FIU working as academic advisor for the School of Computing and Information Sciences in September 2014. Since then, she has been researching and developing the Academic Success Initiative (ASI) program, which was implemented in the spring semester of 2015. As a result of ASI growing, Myrian became the ASI Program Director, overseeing its operations in the Advising Center and supervising 25 tutors and trainees.
Myrian lives with her husband and daughter, all FIU alumni! She enjoys reading, relaxing at the beach with her family, and when time permits, she loves traveling and exploring outdoors or overseas.
